This 100 Years of Baseball First Day of Issue cachet is dated from the June 12, 1939 grand opening of the baseball Hall of Fame. . It is hand-signed in blue fountain pen ink by the greatest of them all, Yankees legend Babe Ruth, and grades a very strong, legible 8 at least. With Ruth now gone nearly 75 years, retail on this baby is low thousands!
