This very old hand-written letter is dated July 19, 1918, and is on a cut of 5x5 white, lined paper. It is penned at the bottom in black fountain pen ink by the longtime New York Giants skipper and 1937 HOF Inductee himself, and grades a 6.5 overall. With McGraw's death now about 85 years ago, retail on this frame/mat-ready flat is low thousands!
