This awesome piece is a blonde full size bat from Adirondack, engraved on the barrel in block lettering to read ARCHIVES TRIBUTE CLASS OF 1953, and numbered 39 of 53 on the knob. It is hand-signed in blue on the barrel by 56 different players who starred in the Majors in 1953, including HOF'ers and notables such as Richie Ashburn, Ralph Branca, Warren Spahn, Dick Groat, Bob Feller, Bobby Shantz, Whitey Ford, Monte Irvin, Johnny Sain, George Kell, Ralph Kiner, Bob Lemon, Hank Bauer, Johnny Podres, Phil Rizzuto, Johnny Mize, Enos Slaughter, Early Wynn, Carl Erskine, Ralph Houk, Hoyt Wilhelm and many more. A copy of the original Huggin & Scott JSA group LOA is included, which lists the bat by name, and with so many greats present, this baby is valued at dozens of times our low, low minimum bid!!!
