This nice old ball is red and blue laced, "Official League Ball" stamped, and comes green ink, side panel signed and dated from 1944 by the late, famed Cooperstown Legend. The ball itself is a soft 6, discolored, but not really worn, and the signature is larger than most, can be seen from 20 feet way easily, and grades an honest 7 or better. Add in the Mel Allen Yankees LOA, and you have an easy decision to make.
