This 2.75x6.25 personal check from the National Bank of Boston is dated April 5, 1940, and comes hand-signed at the bottom by A's HOF great, Jimmie Foxx. Signature is a strong 8 at least, and the check is endorsed on the back by the person--Tom Moore--to whom it was made out to. Fantastic item here, ideal for matting and framing with the photo of your choice, and retail is low thousands, to be sure!
