This original June 12, 1939 Cooperstown stamped cachet is a First Day Cover, entitled 100 Years Of Baseball. It comes hand-signed at the top left in pencil by the man who brought baseball into the modern age, Yankees all time great Babe Ruth! The signature grades about a 5 and has faded a bit due to the passage of 80 years, and the piece is valued into the low thousands!
