This 1939 stamped cachet commemorates the 150th anniversary of George Washington's Inauguration, and comes hand-signed beautifully in black fountain pen ink by the US President of the day, Franklin D. Roosevelt. This is a gorgeous signature, grading a bold 8 at least, and the piece was obviously signed as the President, as he died in office, making it that much more valuable!
