This nearly impossible to acquire item is a nearly two hundred year-old golf ball, known at the time as a "featherie," as it was a hand-sewn leather pouch ball, filled with boiled and softened chicken or goose feathers. This example is absolutely astounding considering the age, and is in EX overall condition. No vintage golfing collection would be nearly complete without this gem, valued well into the hundreds!
