When it comes to serious show off items in the world of baseball memorabilia, not many can come remotely close to this baseball, penned in black at the original 1939 Cooperstown ceremony by 15 of baseball's immortals. Included are Frick, Harridge, Landis, Sisler, Mack, Alexander, Cobb, Johnson, Young, Speaker, Collins, Lajoie, Wagner, Griffith, and a great big Babe Ruth across the sweet spot. The blue/red laced baseball was shellacked long ago to preserve these signature, which grade 5's-8's each, and the ball is certified by antiquarian, Jim Hayes, for authenticity purposes. A piece that will truly be envied by all, and one that has it's value WELL into the five figure area!
